This is the all important “Volume II” catalogue (complete in itself) from this landmark exhibition illustrating and documenting roughly 300 objects from the Prehistoric period to 900 BC. (Volume 1, not included, contains a number of essays on various aspects of Nubian life.) This oversized catalogue of more than 366 pages is very difficult to find and a great reference work with nearly 300 works illustrated with full description and dating. Softcover in near new condition but with some scuffing / light abrasion to the spine. Inside text is tight and clean.
