Hellenistic Bronze BowlCirca 3rd-1st Century BC
Description: A hemispherical bowl constructed of a single sheet of bronze. The bowl has been left undecorated with a smoothed rim. The deep vessel has a nice dark patina of green and brown with areas of the original bronze visible, possibly the result of having been stacked between other bowls in antiquity. Diameter: 4.5 in. (11.5 cm) Condition: Intact except tiny chips to the rim. Provenance: Formerly in a private New Jersey, USA collection. Price: $ 300
