The exhibition was organized to examine the social, economic, technological and environmental factors that led to the extraordinary civilization of Pharaonic Egypt. Topics include pottery (with in-depth analysis and evolution of forms chart), ceremonial and utilitarian vessels and other ceremonial, decorative and utilitarian objects. Over 130 items are illustrated from museums throughout North America, mainly b&w with 16 color plates. Small chip to spine, otherwise fine condition. Softcover (tiny nick to spine) but otherwise excellent, unused condition.
